Meet Gerald L. Giel
Gerald Giel has been serving the western Pennsylvania region for nearly 40 years, and he gained experience and learned all the tricks of the trade before going into business on his own.
Gerald remembers going with his dad to help on installs as early as five years old. “I learned garage doors at the same time I was learning the alphabet,” he recalls.
When he opened his company full-time under the name Gerald Giel Garage Doors in 1984, he was already a veteran doorman. While garage doors have seen many changes and improvements over the years, he believes they are still an overlooked item in building a home.
Today’s homeowner has a very large selection to choose from in terms of design, colors, insulation values, and price points.
